WWE Raw Set For Historic First-Ever Dublin Show

WWE is bringing Monday Night Raw to Ireland for the first time, with the flagship show set to air live from Dublin’s 3Arena on Monday, January 25, 2027. The broadcast will stream live on Netflix, giving Irish fans their first chance to see Raw in person.

The news broke after Irish sports outlet Off The Ball spent days teasing a “massive” WWE-related announcement involving Becky Lynch and Finn Balor, fueling speculation that a Premium Live Event might be heading to Ireland. Instead, Lynch and Balor confirmed the historic Raw date themselves.

Lynch, one of Ireland’s most prominent wrestling stars, didn’t hide her excitement. “Huge,” she said. “I love it. I’m very excited. First time ever, Raw’s going to be in 3Arena live on Netflix. It’s amazing.”

Balor echoed that enthusiasm while pushing back on any notion that a Raw taping carries less weight than a PLE. “I have to say, we’re coming here with Raw. And for me, Raw is as important as a PLE,” he said. “Every Monday is just as important as every PLE. The scale of the show is the exact same, it’s all the same production levels. It’s all the same, obviously, storylines. There’s no corners cut.”

The Dublin date continues WWE’s deepening investment in Ireland. The 3Arena hosted the promotion’s first-ever SmackDown taping in August 2025, and now Raw follows less than two years later — a rapid turnaround that signals real confidence in the Irish market. WWE’s global distribution deal with Netflix makes staging Raw internationally more feasible than ever, since the show can air live worldwide no matter where it’s produced.

The timing is notable, too. The January 25 show falls in the buildup to Royal Rumble 2027, which WWE has already confirmed will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in February, though an exact date hasn’t been set. That places Dublin’s Raw squarely in the middle of Rumble-season storytelling, a stretch typically packed with qualifying matches and shifting alliances heading into the road to WrestleMania.

With two of Ireland’s own stars fronting the announcement, it’s fair to expect WWE will lean into that homecoming angle when the show actually arrives. Lynch has long been positioned as one of the company’s defining stars of her generation, and Balor’s ties to Irish wrestling run deep dating back to his pre-WWE career. A red-hot Dublin crowd reacting to both of them on home soil, live on Netflix, is the kind of moment WWE will want to capitalize on creatively rather than just logistically.

Expect ticket details and any additional matches or segments for the show to be announced as January approaches, along with more clarity on how it fits into the broader Rumble build. For now, Irish wrestling fans have a firm date circled — and a real sense that WWE’s presence in the country is only growing.
