Editorial Standards

PW Exclusive is committed to accurate, fair and independent pro wrestling journalism. This page sets out the standards our coverage is held to, and how to reach us if we get something wrong.

Sourcing & verification

We report on news from across WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW and the wider wrestling world. Where a story originates with another outlet or a wrestler’s own comments, we credit and link the original source. We distinguish clearly between confirmed news, reports from other outlets, and rumour or speculation, and we label reports as such rather than presenting them as fact.

Accuracy, corrections & updates

We aim to get it right the first time, but wrestling is a fast-moving beat and details change. When we learn that something we’ve published is inaccurate or incomplete, we correct it promptly and, where the change is significant, note that the article has been updated. If you spot an error, please tell us at our contact page and we’ll review it.

Independence & disclosures

PW Exclusive is an independent outlet. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW or any other promotion. Company names, championship names and talent names are used for identification and commentary only, and remain the property of their respective owners.

Some pages may contain advertising or affiliate links. Where we run a competition or giveaway, the terms are published alongside it. Commercial relationships never determine our editorial coverage or the opinions expressed in it.

Opinion & analysis

Alongside news we publish analysis, predictions and opinion. These pieces reflect the view of the writer and are clearly editorial in nature, separate from our straight news reporting.

How our coverage is produced

PW Exclusive is a small independent outlet, not a newsroom. Most of our news coverage is drafted with AI assistance from published reports and official announcements, checked before it goes live, and published under the PW Exclusive Staff byline. Opinion and analysis carry an individual byline; those are pen names, and a real person at PW Exclusive is accountable for everything published under one.

We say so plainly because you are entitled to know what produced what you are reading. We do not present AI-drafted copy as first-hand reporting, and where a story originates with another outlet we credit and link them.
