AEW’s PAC Dies at 40, One Day After All Out

AEW confirmed on Monday that PAC, born Benjamin Satterley, has died at the age of 40, coming less than 24 hours after he competed at All Out in Chicago.

PAC wrestled in the opening match of that show, falling short in a bid for the National Championship against Andrade El Idolo. It marked his final appearance for the promotion.

AEW released a statement on social media confirming the news: “All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”

The company added that further updates would be provided as they become available.

PAC’s career spanned more than two decades and multiple continents before he became one of the cornerstone talents of AEW’s launch era. Fans best knew him for his time in WWE, where he competed as Adrian Neville and later simply Neville, capturing the NXT Championship, the NXT Tag Team Championship, and the Cruiserweight Championship during a run that helped define that division. His signing with AEW in 2019 made him one of the promotion’s first major acquisitions, and he went on to hold multiple championships during his tenure, building a reputation as one of the most technically gifted high-flyers of his generation.
