UFC Fight Night: Gamrot vs. Salkilld Results From Las Vegas

UFC Fight Night: Gamrot vs. Salkilld took place on Saturday, August 8, in Las Vegas, with the card streaming live on Paramount+.

The night’s action opened with a women’s strawweight bout that saw Carol Foro pick up a unanimous decision win over Gigi Canuto, with all three judges scoring the fight 29-28 in her favor. The women’s flyweight division was also on display, with Juliana Miller notching a victory earlier on the card as well.

While UFC Fight Night events rarely carry the marquee status of a numbered pay-per-view, they remain a critical proving ground for the promotion’s roster depth — especially in the women’s divisions, where a strong showing on a Fight Night card can be the difference between climbing the rankings and treading water. Decision wins like Foro’s may not generate highlight-reel finishes, but they matter plenty to judges, matchmakers, and the fighters themselves trying to build momentum toward bigger opportunities.

Fight Night cards like this one also serve as a showcase for emerging talent that hasn’t yet built the name recognition of the promotion’s biggest stars. For fighters such as Foro and Miller, wins in Las Vegas translate directly into leverage for their next contract and their next opponent, even if the broader wrestling and combat sports world’s attention is often elsewhere on a given weekend.

As always, results from these prelim-heavy Fight Night shows tend to ripple outward slowly — expect rankings shakeups and follow-up matchmaking news in the women’s strawweight and flyweight divisions in the weeks ahead as the promotion digests Saturday’s outcomes.
