Report: Bron Breakker Wants Out of The Vision Storyline

Bron Breakker is reportedly seeking a new creative direction in WWE after growing frustrated with how his character was booked earlier this year. The frustration reportedly traces back to a planned WrestleMania 42 showcase against CM Punk that never came together, with shifting creative plans and an injury to Breakker knocking the match off the card entirely and leaving him out of the event.

Speaking on the Self Made Sessions podcast, commentator Ibou said he had been holding back information on the situation until it was cleared to discuss publicly. “I can finally say this. I was not allowed to say this earlier because it was off the record, but now it’s on record,” Ibou said. “I can tell you publicly for a fact that some of what happened with Bron Breakker creatively did frustrate him. I can tell you for a fact that he was very frustrated with how a lot of his creative played out early this year.”

Breakker is currently part of The Vision on Monday Night RAW, where he holds the WWE World Tag Team Championship alongside Austin Theory. According to Ibou, Breakker has since had internal conversations about moving on from that group and into a different storyline altogether.

“I have a bit of a scoop for you,” Ibou said. “I can tell you for a fact that Bron Breakker has explored his options creatively from a standpoint of pivoting away from this. What that means is I can tell you that he has had conversations with people in the company as to basically eject himself from this situation and be put in another situation creatively.”

Ibou added that, in his own assessment, Breakker no longer feels his current pairing is doing him any favors. “This is my opinion based on the conversations that I’ve had,” he said. “I don’t think Bron Breakker wants to be in the vision anymore. That is my opinion based on the information in front of me. I don’t think right now he thinks it’s working for him.”

Nothing has been confirmed by WWE regarding a creative shift for Breakker, but given his standing as one of the promotion’s top young stars, any move away from The Vision would be worth watching closely in the weeks ahead.
