Jacob Fatu Pushes Back On Fans Who Wanted Him In WWE Sooner

Jacob Fatu isn’t interested in the narrative that he wasted time before arriving in WWE. The former Bloodline enforcer addressed the topic in a recent appearance, pushing back on fans who’ve suggested he should have made the jump to the company earlier in his career.

Fatu officially signed with WWE in 2024, and he’s wasted little time establishing himself since. He’s become a fixture of The Bloodline alongside Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso, and has quickly turned into one of the more talked-about acquisitions of recent years thanks to his intensity and in-ring style.

The comments speak to a broader conversation that’s followed Fatu for a while now — the idea that a talent of his caliber could have been a WWE mainstay years before he actually got there. It’s the kind of hindsight take that’s easy for fans to make, but Fatu clearly feels his path, whatever it looked like before 2024, got him to WWE at the right time rather than a missed opportunity.

Since joining the roster, Fatu has been positioned as a key piece of one of WWE’s most prominent factions, working closely with Reigns and the Usos in storylines that have kept The Bloodline at the center of the promotion’s programming. That kind of immediate integration into a top angle suggests the company sees him as far more than a curiosity signing, and it undercuts the idea that he arrived too late to matter.

Whether Fatu expands further on his reasoning or the timeline of his path to WWE remains to be seen, but for now, he’s made clear he doesn’t view his 2024 arrival as overdue. As his run with The Bloodline continues, that debate over “what could have been” is likely to keep coming up — even if Fatu himself has already made his stance known.
