Cody Rhodes Says There Have Been ‘Semi-Serious Talks’ About Bringing Brandi Rhodes Back to WWE

Cody Rhodes has revealed that discussions have taken place internally about getting his wife, Brandi Rhodes, more involved with WWE programming on a recurring basis. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Cody described the conversations as “semi-serious talks” about bringing Brandi back for things “here and there.”

It wouldn’t be a completely new development. Brandi has already made appearances alongside Cody during his current WWE tenure, most memorably accompanying him to the ring at WrestleMania 40, where he finally captured the Undisputed WWE Championship in a moment that became one of the more emotionally resonant scenes of that event. Her presence at marquee moments has clearly resonated with audiences, making the idea of a more structured role a natural conversation to have.

Brandi Rhodes, of course, is no stranger to the wrestling business. She served as Chief Brand Officer of AEW during the promotion’s formative years and was a regular on-screen presence there, so a return to a prominent TV role would hardly be a stretch. WWE has leaned into the Rhodes family legacy heavily since Cody’s return, and Brandi has been woven into that narrative at key moments.

Whether those semi-serious talks ever materialize into something more defined remains to be seen, but the fact that Cody is openly acknowledging the conversations suggests it’s at least a genuine possibility rather than pure speculation. For fans who enjoyed the couple’s dynamic during the AEW era, the prospect of Brandi showing up more regularly in WWE is an intriguing one.
