CMLL’s Sábado De Coliseo Card Features Bandido & Titán Vs. Templario & El Clon

CMLL ran another edition of its weekly Sábado de Coliseo program on Saturday, August 8, from the historic Arena Coliseo in Mexico City, with a tag team clash between Bandido and Titán against Templario and El Clon serving as the marquee attraction.

Arena Coliseo remains one of CMLL’s bread-and-butter venues, hosting a steady stream of weekly programming that keeps the promotion’s deep roster active outside of its bigger Arena México spectaculars. Bandido, who has built a global reputation through stints in AEW and various U.S. independents, has increasingly split his time back toward his lucha libre roots, and pairings like this one with Titán give CMLL a chance to showcase two of its more agile, crowd-pleasing high-flyers on the same side of the ring.

On the other side, Templario and El Clon represent the kind of technically sound, rudo-leaning talent that CMLL relies on to fill out competitive midcard and semi-main matchups week after week. Both have long track records within the promotion’s trios and tag divisions, and a matchup against a duo as dynamic as Bandido and Titán typically produces the kind of fast-paced exchanges that Sábado de Coliseo crowds have come to expect.

Detailed match-by-match results and finishes from the show were not made available, but the presence of Bandido on a CMLL date is notable in its own right given his profile outside of Mexico. His continued appearances for the promotion suggest CMLL is still leaning on him as a periodic drawing card for its weekly Coliseo audience, even as he balances outside commitments.

For CMLL, these Saturday shows function as a proving ground and a showcase simultaneously — a place where established stars like Bandido can mix it up with the promotion’s steady midcard core. As CMLL continues building toward its next round of larger anniversary and tournament shows, appearances like this one help keep the weekly product connected to the promotion’s bigger storylines heading into the fall schedule. Fans looking for the full night’s card and outcomes will want to keep an eye on CMLL’s official channels for confirmation of results as they roll out.
