AEW Collision returned to the Rio Rancho Events Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on June 27, 2026, serving as the final stop before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Three championships were defended and several key segments set the stage for Sunday’s pay-per-view in San Jose.

The evening opened with a Trios Title defense as The Conglomeration — Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong — put the AEW World Trios Championships on the line against The Opps (HOOK, Katsuyori Shibata, and Anthony Bowens). The match was a physical back-and-forth affair with highlights including Cassidy’s pockets-in-pockets comedy routine drawing a big reaction, Shibata and Strong trading vicious chops, and multiple near-falls down the stretch.
