Enzo Amore has asked wrestling fans to give PAC’s wife privacy and stop speculating about the circumstances of his death, sharing an emotional statement about the loss of his close friend.

PAC, known to WWE audiences as Neville and born Benjamin Satterley, was reported to have died at age 40. Amore, who now wrestles under the name Real1, took to X to appeal directly to fans who admired PAC’s work in the ring. “Ben’s wife deserves prayers and privacy. Speculation is routed in evil.. Ben was a good man, if you ever enjoyed a moment of watching him, do the man the courtesy of respecting his wife’s privacy and let him rest in peace. Ben was a good man who deserves as much,” Amore wrote.

The message followed an earlier tribute in which Amore described Satterley as his best friend and said he was in shock over the news. “My best friend has passed on, I am absolutely in shock. My prayers are with his wife and family. Ben, I love you. I’m going to miss you Pac, thank you for being a friend,” he wrote.

Amore and Satterley’s friendship dated back to their time together in WWE, long before either found lasting success elsewhere — Amore as part of the Enzo & Big Cass tag team, and Satterley as the high-flying Neville, a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Reports indicate PAC’s last match came against Andrade El Ídolo at AEW All Out on September 26, and that he was found unresponsive in a vehicle in Des Plaines, Illinois, the following afternoon after a passerby contacted emergency services. He was reportedly pronounced dead around 4 p.m. on September 27, with no signs of trauma or foul play found at the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office was said to still be working to determine an official cause and manner of death at the time of the reports, and nothing has been confirmed publicly.

Amore’s plea reflects a broader instinct within the wrestling community in moments like this — a push to protect grieving families from online rumor mills that tend to spiral in the absence of confirmed information.
