Monday’s WWE Raw is shaping up to be a promo-heavy night, with several high-profile names confirmed to take the microphone ahead of what figures to be a significant stretch of programming.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that both King of the Ring finalists — Oba Femi and Jey Uso — will address the WWE Universe on the June 22 episode. On the women’s side, Queen of the Ring finalists Liv Morgan and IYO SKY are also scheduled to speak. Rounding out the announced segments, Chad Gable will likewise get microphone time on the show.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournament has been one of the central storylines on Raw in recent weeks, with Femi and Uso emerging as the last two men standing and Morgan and IYO SKY doing the same on the women’s side. Having all four finalists speak on the same broadcast adds a layer of anticipation heading into the eventual finals, where the winners will earn crown and scepter — along with the prestige and momentum that traditionally comes with a King or Queen of the Ring coronation.
Gable’s inclusion is notable in its own right, as he has remained one of Raw’s most compelling characters and any time he’s handed a microphone it tends to leave an impression.
With the tournament endgame drawing closer and multiple major storylines in motion, the June 22 edition of Raw looks to be a pivotal night for the red brand.
