WWE has locked in Roman Reigns’ schedule for the next several months, confirming the reigning champion for Money in the Bank on Saturday, October 10, in New Orleans. Before any of that, though, Reigns has business to settle in Minneapolis. WWE confirmed that his World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins will close out SummerSlam Night Two on Sunday, August 2, at US Bank Stadium. Reigns won the title at WrestleMania, and this rematch with Rollins is shaping up as one of the season’s marquee main events — the kind of blow-off encounter that tends to define a champion’s summer.

Assuming he comes out of SummerSlam still holding the belt, Reigns is advertised for a string of high-profile Raw dates: August 3 in Des Moines, August 17 in Buffalo, a Raw/SmackDown taping on August 28 in Cleveland, September 14 in Mexico City, and October 5 in St. Louis, before Money in the Bank wraps the run on October 10 in New Orleans.

That Mexico City stop is worth flagging on its own — Reigns has long been one of WWE’s biggest international draws, and a Raw appearance south of the border suggests the company is treating his championship reign as a centerpiece attraction well beyond U.S. arenas.

The Money in the Bank date itself has been a moving target. The show was originally slotted for its usual late-summer window before WWE pushed it back multiple times, ultimately settling on October — a notably later spot on the calendar than fans are used to. That shift has already reshaped how the build toward the ladder match feels this year, with less overlap against SummerSlam fallout and more room for a fresh storyline arc heading into the fall.

For Reigns, being locked into Money in the Bank as champion raises the obvious question of stakes: will he be defending the title inside the event itself, or simply appearing on the card while the briefcase match plays out around him?
