Kevin Knight Set To Defend AEW TNT Title Against AR Fox

Kevin Knight has another title defense on his plate. The AEW TNT Champion is set to put his belt on the line against AR Fox on the July 18 episode of AEW Collision, with the matchup announced during Thursday’s ROH television broadcast.

It’s been a busy stretch for Knight as champion. He also defended the TNT Title against Darby Allin on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, and he’s additionally lined up to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. That combination of business makes Knight one of the most active titleholders on the AEW roster at the moment, juggling top-of-the-card opportunities while continuing to fend off challengers for the TNT strap.

Fox, a longtime independent standout with plenty of experience across the industry, gets his shot at Knight’s title on Collision. The champion has been building momentum since capturing the TNT Championship, and facing a string of credible opponents in quick succession only adds to the sense that AEW is positioning him as a fixture at the top of the midcard — if not higher, given the looming Omega showdown.

With Knight now fielding challenges on both Dynamite and Collision while also eyeing the AEW World Championship, it’s clear the promotion is treating him as one of its hottest properties right now. Fans will find out this weekend whether Fox can pull off the upset and end Knight’s reign, or whether the champion adds another successful defense to his resume before turning his attention to Omega.
