Paul Heyman’s Restraining Order Stunt Backfires as Oba Femi Runs Through Police on Raw

Paul Heyman thought he had found a clever way to keep Oba Femi at bay heading into SummerSlam — but the plan fell apart almost immediately on Monday night’s WWE Raw.

With Brock Lesnar set to meet Femi inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam, Heyman opened the show surrounded by local police officers, framing the security presence as necessary protection from what he called an “obsessive stalker.” He questioned why Femi had willingly surrendered a guaranteed World Championship opportunity at SummerSlam just to keep pursuing Lesnar, arguing the decision proved the powerhouse had become dangerously fixated on The Beast. Heyman assured the crowd that Lesnar was ready to put the rivalry to bed inside Hell in a Cell once and for all.

To keep things civil before the premium live event, Heyman then dropped the real bombshell: both he and Lesnar had obtained restraining orders against Femi. “This Beast is a law abiding citizen,” Heyman declared, looking thoroughly pleased with himself as a reluctant Lesnar played along.

The satisfaction was short-lived. Femi walked to the ring anyway, and when the police officers moved in to enforce the court order, he bulldozed through every single one of them without much difficulty.

With the ring cleared and Heyman scrambling, Femi addressed Lesnar directly — accusing him of hiding behind legal paperwork rather than standing and fighting. He charged that Lesnar once ran WWE but now simply runs away.

Femi also explained his decision to give up his guaranteed championship match, saying Lesnar would have found a way to cost him the title opportunity regardless. Beating The Beast, he made clear, matters more to him right now than any championship pursuit.

The confrontation puts a sharp exclamation point on a feud that has grown increasingly personal. With Hell in a Cell and SummerSlam on the horizon, Heyman’s legal maneuvering has done little beyond adding more fuel to an already combustible situation.
