WWE SmackDown on July 10, 2026 featured the fallout from a major title change on Raw, as CM Punk arrived on the blue brand as the new Undisputed WWE Champion after replacing Cody Rhodes to defeat Sami Zayn. Rhodes himself showed up on SmackDown to issue a SummerSlam challenge directly to Punk.

Finn Bálor picked up some revenge on Tama Tonga, who along with Talla Tonga had ambushed Bálor backstage the previous week. Bálor wasted no time taking out both brothers — hitting a Suicide Senton on the interfering Talla before sealing the win with the Coup De Grace.

Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu came to the ring seeking Solo Sikoa, but instead found themselves in a heated exchange with Royce Keys. After Fatu temporarily departed, Keys shoved Uso out of the ring to ignite an impromptu match. Fatu eventually returned to intercept a meddling Solo Sikoa, giving Uso the opening he needed to finish Keys with a Spear. Post-match, Fatu delivered a fierce beatdown to Sikoa before pulling back and issuing what he called a final warning for Solo to return to the Bloodline fold.

Jade Cargill, accompanied by B-Fab and Michin, used the three-on-two numbers advantage against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair to secure the win, finishing Bliss with the Jaded. After the bell, Michin and B-Fab restrained Flair while Cargill attacked Bliss’ arm with a steel chair.

The United States Championship match between Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes never reached a conclusion — Baron Corbin made a sudden return to WWE and brutally attacked both competitors, ending the bout in a no contest. Elsewhere, an enraged Gunther assaulted SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis with repeated Sleeper holds upon learning he would be teaming with Sami Zayn to face CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
