Zilla Fatu, Son of Umaga, Spotted at WWE Performance Center Amid Bloodline Expansion

The Bloodline saga may be about to add another branch to its family tree. Zilla Fatu, the 26-year-old son of the late Umaga, was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, raising immediate speculation about a potential run with the company.

Fatu’s presence at the Performance Center is notable on multiple levels. As a member of the legendary Anoaʻi family — the same dynasty that has produced Roman Reigns, the Usos, and Sika — he carries both the bloodline and the pedigree that WWE has built an entire era around. His father, Umaga, was one of the most physically imposing and naturally gifted performers of the mid-2000s before his passing in 2009, and those are large boots to fill.

Zilla has been active on the independent scene and has been developing his craft, but a visit to WWE’s flagship training facility suggests the company has at minimum taken a serious look at him. Whether this leads to a developmental contract, a tryout situation, or simply an exploratory visit remains to be seen based on available information.

From a creative standpoint, the timing is hard to ignore. The Bloodline storyline has been WWE’s central narrative for years and continues to evolve with new characters cycling in and out. Adding a son of Umaga — a man who holds a beloved place in WWE history — would give the faction another generational hook to work with.

It’s early days, but Zilla Fatu at the Performance Center is the kind of development that tends to have a follow-up.
