Tennis Star Coco Gauff Weighs In on What Her WWE-Style Entrance Music Would Be

Grand Slam champion Coco Gauff has given wrestling fans something to think about, sharing what song she’d walk out to if tennis borrowed a page from WWE’s playbook and gave players full entrance music treatment.

Gauff, who has established herself as one of the premier players in the sport, was posed the hypothetical question and offered up her pick. The 20-year-old has been one of American tennis’s biggest stars in recent years, having collected 11 singles titles on the professional circuit — a list that includes both the US Open and the French Open — while also thriving in doubles competition, where she has added another 10 titles to her résumé.

The crossover appeal here is real. WWE has long leaned into celebrity culture, and athletes from other sports taking an interest in pro wrestling’s presentation and pageantry speaks to just how deeply the brand has penetrated mainstream sports entertainment. Entrance music, in particular, is one of WWE’s most iconic elements — the right theme can define a character entirely, so the question of what a competitor would choose says a lot about how they see themselves.

Gauff’s willingness to engage with the question is a fun reminder that wrestling’s cultural footprint extends well beyond the squared circle. Whether or not tennis ever adopts anything resembling a WWE entrance setup, at least one of the sport’s biggest names has already thought about how she’d make her walk to the court unforgettable.
