Report: Australian Tag Team The Dropouts Expected to Sign With WWE

The Dropouts — Scott Green and The Tuckman — are reportedly on the verge of signing with WWE after completing a successful tryout with the company.

The Australian duo recently wrapped up their commitments with several promotions in Australia, clearing the path for a move to WWE. The pair built a strong reputation on the independent circuit, most notably holding the SLAM! Tag Team Championship from November 2024 through February 2026 — a reign of more than a year. They also captured the Newcastle Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship during their time with Newy Pro, adding another title to an already-impressive résumé before making the jump to pursue a WWE contract.

No confirmed debut timeline has been announced, and more details are expected in the weeks ahead.

The Dropouts aren’t the only name reportedly heading to WWE. Richard Holliday is also said to be on track to sign with the company, if he hasn’t done so already. Their potential arrivals come on the heels of other notable recent additions to the WWE roster, including Hiromu Takahashi and the returns of Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

WWE’s tag team division has long been regarded as one of the deeper and more competitive parts of the roster, so any new arrivals will have plenty to prove. If The Dropouts bring the same work rate that earned them championships across the Australian scene, they could make noise quickly once they’re officially on board.
