NWA Lands Streaming Deal With Tubi, Bringing NWA Powerrr to Fox-Owned Platform

The National Wrestling Alliance has a new streaming home. The NWA has formally announced a deal with Tubi, the free ad-supported streaming service operated by Fox Corporation, that will bring the promotion’s flagship series, NWA Powerrr, to the platform on a weekly basis.

For fans who have been following the NWA’s various digital homes over the years, the Tubi partnership represents a notable step. Tubi carries a massive built-in audience as one of the most widely used free streaming services in the United States, giving the NWA exposure to a much larger potential viewership than it might reach through a more niche destination. The fact that it’s completely free to viewers — no subscription required — lowers the barrier to entry considerably for casual fans who may be curious about the promotion but unwilling to seek it out on a paid platform.

NWA Powerrr has served as the promotion’s primary television product since its revival under Billy Corgan’s ownership, and the show has gone through a handful of streaming and broadcast homes during that run. Landing on a Fox Corporation-backed platform is a meaningful endorsement of the brand’s viability as a streaming property.

New weekly episodes of NWA Powerrr will be available on Tubi as part of the agreement. For a promotion that has worked hard to re-establish itself as a legitimate player in professional wrestling, consistent weekly programming on a major free streaming platform could go a long way toward building the kind of sustained audience the NWA has been chasing.
