Nikkita Lyons Teases Music Video With TNA’s Mara Sadè

WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Nikkita Lyons is stepping further into her music career, sharing the first teaser for a new music video that features TNA Wrestling’s Mara Sadè.

Lyons, who records under the name FaithyJ, posted the preview on X, showing herself and Sadè — known to WWE fans as Jakara Jackson during her NXT run — performing in vibrant, belly dance-inspired outfits for the track “Phat Check.” Lyons confirmed the song drops on all major streaming platforms on August 8, 2026, tagging both her music handle and Sadè’s in the announcement.

Music has long run parallel to Lyons’ wrestling career. Before and after signing with WWE in 2021, she released several singles and a full studio album between 2017 and 2024, often balancing recording sessions with her in-ring schedule. Since joining WWE, she built her profile in NXT before shifting to WWE Evolve and appearing on the current season of WWE LFG.

In the ring, Lyons has dealt with a string of injuries over the past few years but recently notched a major milestone, defeating Wendy Choo to capture her first singles title in WWE by winning the Evolve Women’s Championship. She also recently competed on NXT television, challenging Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Championship in a Fatal Four-Way that included Izzi Dame and Lizzy Rain, though she came up short.

With “Phat Check” set for release next month, Lyons continues to build out a career that spans both the squared circle and the studio, this time teaming up with a fellow talent who’s made the same journey from WWE developmental to another promotion.
