For the first time, a major professional wrestling promotion outside of AEW or Ring of Honor will host a pay-per-view event on the MyAEW platform. CMLL Presents NJPW Fantastica Mania Mexico 2026 will stream live this Friday, June 19, beginning at 10:30 PM ET from the iconic Arena México — available for $9.99 with English commentary.
The event is accessible in over 100 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and several European nations, though it will not be available in Mexico itself. It’s also worth noting the event is separate from existing MyAEW TV and TV+PPV subscription packages and is not included in those plans.
The card is loaded with both lucha libre tradition and strong style firepower. The main event carries significant emotional weight: Tiger Mask competes in his Mexico retirement match, teaming with Blue Panther and Mistico against Averno, Black Tiger, and Volador Jr. Elsewhere on the card, CMLL World Tag Team gold is on the line as Los Hermanos Chavez defend against Dick Togo and SANADA, and the CMLL-Japan Women’s Title is contested as champion India Sioux takes on Rina. Fans can also look forward to El Phantasmo versus Barbaro Cavenario, a trios match pitting Mascara Dorada, Neon, and Templario against Robbie X, Taiji Ishimori, and Titan, and a high-profile six-man tag featuring Gran Guerrero and Ultimo Guerrero against Hechicero and Konosuke Takeshita.
The partnership represents a meaningful expansion of the MyAEW platform’s scope. Beyond this one-time Fantastica Mania broadcast, MyAEW already hosts content from several independent promotions including Limitless, Warrior Wrestling, C*4, and Create-a-Pro, among others. Adding a CMLL/NJPW co-promoted event to that lineup signals growing ambitions for the platform as a destination for wrestling fans beyond the AEW and ROH ecosystems.
Tiger Mask’s sendoff alone makes Friday night appointment viewing for anyone with a connection to the history of professional wrestling.
