MLW World Champion Killer Kross Cast Alongside Ron Perlman in ‘Godshot’

Killer Kross is taking his intensity from the MLW ring to the big screen. The reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion has been cast in the upcoming action-drama Godshot, joining an ensemble headlined by Academy Award nominee Ron Perlman.

Godshot draws its story from the real-life experiences of Hollywood stuntman Sammy Horowitz. The film centers on a recently released ex-convict who stumbles into the high-risk world of Hollywood stunt work and finds an unexpected shot at redemption — only to find that leaving his past behind proves harder than any stunt he’s ever performed. Horowitz himself appears in the cast alongside Kross and Perlman, who is best known for his work in Hellboy and the long-running FX series Sons of Anarchy.

The supporting cast is stacked with veteran talent. William Forsythe, a recognizable face from The Devil’s Rejects and dozens of other genre films, is on board, as are Kris D. Lofton, Joe Miñoso, Marila Lombrozo, Sari Sanchez, and Jon Seda. Gabriel Beristain, a cinematographer-turned-director with substantial industry credentials, is helming the project.

For Kross, the role represents another meaningful step in a film and television career that has been steadily building alongside his in-ring dominance. He has established himself as one of the most formidable champions in MLW history, and the Godshot casting signals that his crossover ambitions are gaining real traction in Hollywood circles.

Despite the outside opportunities, Kross has made clear that his focus inside MLW remains firmly on the World Heavyweight Championship. Challengers continue to emerge from across the globe, and the self-proclaimed Blood King shows no signs of loosening his grip on the promotion’s top prize. How long he can balance both worlds — and who might be next to step up and challenge him — remains to be seen.
