MLW Fusion Lands Free Streaming Home on Tubi

Major League Wrestling has found a new home for its flagship weekly show, striking a streaming distribution deal with Tubi that puts MLW Fusion in front of a massive free audience. Starting Thursday, September 17, new episodes of Fusion will stream on Tubi every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, with no subscription or paywall required.

MLW Founder and CEO Court Bauer framed the move as a natural extension of the promotion’s identity. “Wrestling should be easy to find and free to watch,” Bauer said. “We built MLW around that, no paywalls, no subscription barriers, nothing standing between a fan and the show, and Tubi shares that same fan-first philosophy at scale. Starting Sept. 17, Tubi’s 110 million monthly active users have a front row seat on Thursday nights to the hardest hitting hour in pro wrestling, and it won’t cost a dime.”

Fusion has long been built around a mix of hard-hitting, contemporary wrestling and old-school, rasslin’-flavored presentation, leaning into feuds, title stakes and unpredictability rather than a slick, corporate sheen. That identity has made MLW a niche but durable player in a crowded wrestling media landscape dominated by WWE and AEW, and this deal gives the promotion a shot at meaningfully expanding its reach without asking anyone to pay for it.

Tubi’s scale is the real headline here. As a free, ad-supported streaming service owned by Fox, Tubi has become one of the largest platforms in the country by monthly users, and its audience skews toward viewers who want variety without another monthly bill. For a promotion like MLW, which has spent years piecing together distribution across cable, digital platforms and its own website, landing a Thursday-night slot on a service with a nine-figure user base is a significant distribution upgrade. It puts Fusion in a similar conversation to how AEW and WWE programming reaches fans through their own deals, just via the free, ad-supported route rather than a traditional cable license or premium subscription.

The move also reinforces MLW’s ongoing strategy of building around accessibility. The company has consistently pitched itself as an alternative for fans who don’t want to pay for wrestling content, and this arrangement doubles down on that pitch by pairing a recognizable, no-cost platform with a defined weekly time slot fans can build a habit around. Predictable scheduling matters in wrestling television; a fixed Thursday 8 p.m. ET slot gives Fusion a chance to develop appointment viewing in a way that scattered or shifting distribution never allows.

MLW noted that its live special events will continue alongside the weekly series, meaning Fusion’s move to Tubi doesn’t replace the promotion’s larger show calendar but rather gives its weekly TV product a new, wider window. The company is executive produced by Bauer alongside actor Paul Walter Hauser and Bryan Walsh, and this deal represents one of the more notable distribution wins for MLW in recent memory.

For a promotion that has weathered its share of ups and downs in visibility over the years, a free, high-traffic streaming home could be exactly the kind of exposure boost MLW needs heading into the fall. Whether it translates into real audience growth will become clearer once Thursday nights on Tubi start racking up viewership numbers.
