Matt Riddle Warns Killer Kross at FUSION 200: ‘I’m Coming Straight for You and the Title’

The rivalry between MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross and top contender Matt Riddle took another heated turn at FUSION 200, where a backstage confrontation between the two former training partners nearly came to blows.

Kross looked prepared to keep things professional when he and Riddle crossed paths behind the scenes. Riddle had no interest in keeping the peace. The challenger immediately went on the offensive, reminding Kross that he nearly choked the life out of him during their second match and insisting he would already be wearing the MLW World Heavyweight Championship had Alex Hammerstone not intervened.

From there, Riddle swung his sights toward Hammerstone directly, declaring himself “10 times the fighter, 10 times the athlete, and 10 times the champion” the former world champion could ever hope to be. In Riddle’s view, Hammerstone is simply the next name to cross off the list — and once that business is settled, Kross and the title are what’s waiting at the end of the road.

The confrontation nearly turned physical on the spot. Kross was pushed to his limit by Riddle’s words and threatened to settle things right there in the back, but Scarlett stepped in to diffuse the situation before it could escalate further.

The evening didn’t cool down from there. Later in the night, Riddle and Hammerstone exchanged heated words following Hammerstone’s match, adding another layer of friction to an already volatile title picture.

The hierarchy is clear heading out of FUSION 200: Kross holds the gold, Riddle is gunning for him, and Hammerstone is the obstacle standing between them. With tensions at a boiling point among all three men, it’s hard to imagine this situation staying verbal for much longer.
