Marty Jannetty Standing on Prosthetic Leg in Rehab, Credits Cauliflower Alley Club Support

Marty Jannetty is making meaningful strides in his recovery following a below-the-knee leg amputation he underwent on April 1, 2026. The former WWE star shared a photo on Facebook showing himself standing on a prosthetic leg during a rehabilitation session — a significant milestone in what has been a long and difficult road back to health.

In the post, Jannetty singled out the Cauliflower Alley Club and its president Brian Blair for the support they’ve provided since his surgery. “They’ve showed me quite a lot of love and compassion for my situation. Without their help I don’t think I would’ve gotten through this very tough time in my life,” Jannetty wrote. He also acknowledged that mounting medical costs remain a reality, noting that “insurance only covers so much,” while expressing a desire to give back in whatever way he can.

The Cauliflower Alley Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering financial and personal assistance to members of the wrestling community, past and present. Blair, best remembered as one half of the WWF tag team The Killer Bees, currently leads the group as president.

Jannetty’s amputation came after years of compounding health issues. Following ankle reconstruction surgery in 2020, he suffered several setbacks, including a serious staph infection across multiple procedures. By early 2024, doctors had already warned him the amputation was inevitable. Surgeon Dr. Leland McCluskey performed the procedure on April 1, with his family later confirming that all infected bone had been successfully removed.

Now 66, Jannetty is focusing on rehabilitation and pain management. Best known as one half of The Rockers alongside Shawn Michaels, he enjoyed one of WWE’s most celebrated tag team runs in the late 1980s and early 1990s. After the partnership’s legendary 1992 Barbershop split, he went on to capture the WWF Intercontinental Championship by defeating Michaels in 1993 and later held the WWF Tag Team Championship alongside Sean Waltman. The image of Jannetty standing tall on his prosthetic leg suggests that same competitive spirit isn’t going anywhere.
