LaBron Kozone Set for MLW Debut Against Alan Angels on Fusion This Saturday, July 4

Blue-chip prospect LaBron Kozone is set to make his MLW debut on Saturday, July 4, when he steps into the ring against Alan Angels in Atlanta as part of MLW’s new generation initiative.

Kozone arrives in MLW carrying considerable hype — described as a blue-chip prospect with power and presence to match. But hype has a way of meeting reality fast under the bright lights, and his first assignment in the promotion is no soft landing. Angels is a seasoned competitor with the kind of technical edge and ring awareness that can make any debut go sideways. If Kozone is slow to find his footing, Angels is exactly the type to make him pay for it.

For Kozone, the match represents an immediate opportunity to validate the buzz surrounding him. Getting past a credible, experienced opponent in your first outing goes a long way toward establishing yourself in a new environment. Falling short, on the other hand, can stall momentum before it even builds. The stakes are straightforward: show the tools are real, or go back to the drawing board.

MLW Fusion on July 4 streams free on YouTube beginning at 6:05 PM ET, with the show also available on VEEPS at 9:00 PM ET and on beIN SPORTS at 10:00 PM ET. International fans can catch it on NJPW WORLD beginning Monday, July 6 at 12:00 PM JST (Sunday, July 5 at 11:00 PM ET).

It will be worth keeping an eye on how Kozone handles his first real test inside an MLW ring.
