KC Navarro Reflects on TNA International Title Shot, Calls Return ‘Definitely Back’

KC Navarro is making the most of his second act in TNA. The 26-year-old spent nearly nine months away from professional wrestling before making his return to the company in April, and he has wasted little time re-establishing himself since.

Following a feud with AJ Francis, Navarro has found himself in increasingly high-profile situations within TNA, most notably a match for the TNA International Championship against Mustafa Ali. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Navarro opened up about that title match and what it meant to him personally. He described feeling “definitely back” after competing for the championship, suggesting the bout served as something of a personal milestone in his comeback.

Navarro’s return trajectory has been noteworthy. An absence of nearly three-quarters of a year can test any competitor’s confidence and ring sharpness, but stepping into a title match against a seasoned veteran like Ali sends a clear message about where TNA sees the young talent in their plans. At just 26, Navarro still has significant upside, and the promotion appears to be positioning him accordingly.

Whether a rematch or continued movement up the TNA card is next for Navarro remains to be seen, but his own assessment of how he feels heading into this chapter of his career is as optimistic as it gets. For a performer who spent much of the past year on the shelf, feeling “definitely back” may be the most important thing of all.
