JCW Lunacy Preview: Alice Crowley Takes Charge as Russo Steps Aside

Juggalo Championship Wrestling airs a new episode of JCW Lunacy on Thursday, July 30, streaming live at 7:00 p.m. ET on the Psychopathic Records YouTube channel, and the top story heading in is a change at the top of the card. Vince Russo has stepped aside from his booking role, at least for now, handing the reins to “Big Al” Alice Crowley. JCW has built its identity around exactly this kind of chaotic, Attitude Era-style storytelling, leaning on unpredictable authority figures, backstage politics, and faction warfare rather than pure in-ring hierarchy — a formula that makes sense given Russo’s creative fingerprints on the promotion. With him out of the day-to-day picture for now, the real intrigue is whether Crowley can actually wield power or whether Violent J’s veto turns her reign into a puppet show.
