Jason Statham Attends WWE RAW at London’s O2 Arena, Responds to Appearance

Hollywood action star Jason Statham made his presence felt at WWE RAW’s June 22 broadcast, taking in the show live from the front row at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Statham, a British-born actor best known for his roles in the Fast & Furious franchise and The Transporter series, was one of several high-profile guests on hand for the London event. WWE’s production team made sure the camera found him during the broadcast, and the crowd gave him a notable reception.

Following the show, Statham sent a message in response to the appearance, though the nature of his remarks suggests the evening left an impression on the action star.

Raw’s trip to the O2 Arena is part of WWE’s ongoing commitment to major international events in the UK, one of the promotion’s most passionate markets. London crowds have long been known for their energy and vocal engagement, and a live audience that includes a recognizable hometown celebrity only adds to that atmosphere.

Statham joining the front row is the latest in a long tradition of WWE pulling in mainstream celebrity attention during its overseas runs, and his post-show acknowledgment of the experience speaks to the kind of crossover appeal the company has built over the years. Whether the appearance is purely a one-off or the beginning of a deeper connection with WWE remains to be seen.
