IYO SKY Vows to Claim Queen of the Ring Crown at Night of Champions: ‘That Crown Is Mine’

After knocking off Raquel Rodriguez in the semifinals on WWE Raw, IYO SKY is heading to the Queen of the Ring final — and she’s already made her feelings crystal clear.

SKY took to social media following her win, posting a video in which she celebrated the victory while also making it known her body paid a price. “Look at this bump! Owwww! It hurts. My body’s hurting, but my heart is feeling very, very, very warm,” she said. “You know why? Because IYO SKY is just one match away from becoming the Queen of the Ring! That crown is mine.”

Alongside the video, SKY sent a direct message to her final opponent, Liv Morgan, declaring that “the Genius of the Sky” intends to become the “Queen of the Sky.”

The final takes place at Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The stakes are significant — whoever wins receives a world championship opportunity at SummerSlam in August, with the choice of challenging for either the WWE Women’s Championship or the Women’s World Championship.

That wrinkle makes for an intriguing dynamic. Morgan is the current Women’s World Champion, meaning a SKY victory could set up a fascinating scenario involving Rhea Ripley, who holds the WWE Women’s Championship and has been a close ally of SKY’s. The two famously held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship together, and Ripley has already thrown her support behind SKY — posting a crown emoji in response to her tweet.

For Morgan’s part, she has been vocal about wanting everything, hinting that a Queen of the Ring win would put her on a collision course with Ripley, a rival with whom she has a deep history. Holding both titles simultaneously would be the ultimate statement for a character built around dominance.
