Indie Wrestler Diana Strong Accuses Austrian Promotion Rings of Europe of Creating Photoshopped Topless Image Without Her Consent

Diana Strong, an independent professional wrestler, has gone public with a serious accusation against Austrian promotion Rings of Europe (RoE), alleging that a photoshopped image using her likeness was created and circulated backstage without her knowledge or approval.

Strong’s claims emerged in the wake of a recent RoE event, where she says she became aware of the manipulated image. The nature of the allegation — that her likeness was used in an explicitly altered photograph without her consent — represents a significant breach of trust and professional conduct, the kind that has increasingly drawn scrutiny across the wrestling industry in recent years.

The situation adds to what appears to be a turbulent period for Rings of Europe, though Strong’s public callout is the most pointed and personal accusation to come to light. By speaking out openly, Strong is applying direct pressure on the promotion to address the matter rather than allow it to be handled quietly behind closed doors.

The incident touches on broader conversations that have taken hold in professional wrestling about talent rights, dignity, and the responsibilities promotions carry toward the performers on their roster — particularly women. Wrestlers have become increasingly vocal in recent years about holding promoters accountable for behavior that would not be tolerated in mainstream sports or entertainment.

As of now, Rings of Europe has not issued a public response to Strong’s allegations. Whether the promotion addresses the situation — and how — will likely determine the lasting impact this controversy has on its standing in the European independent scene.
