Evil Uno’s Mystery Wrestling Sets World Record for Longest Professional Wrestling Match in History

Evil Uno’s Mystery Wrestling has etched its name into the record books, setting a new world record for the longest professional wrestling match ever contested — all in the name of charity.

The promotion’s Infinite Rumble kicked off at 11 a.m. Eastern on June 22 and ran for an extraordinary 21 hours, 58 minutes, and 49 seconds — nearly a full 24 hours of continuous action. When the dust finally settled, the battle royal had featured a staggering 243 entrants across its near-day-long runtime.

The event was staged as a charity fundraiser, adding a feel-good dimension to what was already a historic athletic undertaking. Pulling off a match of that length requires not just the physical endurance of everyone involved, but a massive logistical effort behind the scenes — keeping competitors, referees, and production staff going through the night and into the following morning is no small feat.

For context, marathon professional wrestling matches have existed for decades in various forms, but nothing on record has come close to the mark Mystery Wrestling just set. The Infinite Rumble format — a continuous battle royal with waves of new entrants — proved to be the ideal vehicle for stretching the match to historic lengths while keeping the action rotating and fresh enough to sustain momentum.

Evil Uno, best known to mainstream audiences from his time in AEW, has built Mystery Wrestling into a passion project that blends community, creativity, and competition. This record-breaking effort underscores just how far that project has come, delivering a genuinely unprecedented moment for the independent wrestling world while raising funds for a worthy cause in the process.
