Pulling Ryan Garcia into the mix only raised the stakes, signaling that the group isn’t interested in letting this feud fizzle out quietly.

Money on a pole matches are a wrestling tradition dating back decades, usually reserved for storylines that lean into spectacle over sport. Slotting one onto the SummerSlam card suggests WWE wants this match to serve as a palate-cleanser amid the show’s heavier, more serious attractions — a chance for the crowd to have fun watching two performers climb, scramble, and improvise for a briefcase of cash suspended above the ring.
