Alicia Fox Pushes for Divas-Era WWE Hall of Fame Class

Alicia Fox wants to see a wave of Divas-era talent enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame — and she isn’t shy about including herself in that group.

Fox, who joined WWE’s main roster in 2009 and won the Divas Championship in 2010, spent years as one of the more recognizable faces of that division. She’s coming off a stint in TNA Wrestling under the name Victoria Crawford, which ended over the weekend when she and the company parted ways.

Asked on The Wrestling Classic podcast which stars from the Divas era she believes are Hall of Fame worthy, Fox didn’t hesitate. She named Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Melina, and herself as deserving candidates, framing herself and Kelly Kelly as part of an important transitional generation for the division.

“I would say there’s quite a few,” Fox said. “Obviously, Mickie James. I’d say myself and Kelly Kelly because I feel like we were part of that courageous first wave, the beginning of something. Melina still hasn’t been inducted, and I think she absolutely deserves it. She was a multiple-time champion. It would be cool if we all went in together as a package.”

The Divas era is often remembered unevenly compared to the eras that came before and after it, overshadowed on one side by the more storyline-driven Attitude Era women’s division and on the other by the Women’s Evolution that brought a heavier in-ring focus starting in 2015 and 2016. But the performers Fox name-checked were central to keeping the division alive during a period when women’s matches were frequently treated as filler. Mickie James built a reputation as one of the most decorated and well-rounded women on the roster, cycling through multiple title reigns and memorable feuds. Melina brought a flair for high-risk offense and a genuine sense of championship prestige to the title picture. Kelly Kelly, often dismissed by critics at the time, became one of the most popular Divas of her run and held the title herself.

None of the four Fox mentioned has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and the institution has been slow historically to recognize performers strictly from that stretch of the 2000s and early 2010s, favoring bigger crossover stars or Attitude Era holdovers. Fox’s comments add her voice to a growing chorus of former Divas advocating for their generation’s legacy to be acknowledged, especially as WWE continues to lean into its women’s division as a selling point of the current product.

Whether WWE moves toward a themed induction class remains to be seen, but the idea of grouping several Divas-era names together, as Fox suggested, would mirror past group inductions the company has used to honor tag teams, stables, and eras collectively. For now, it’s a wish list from someone who lived through that chapter of WWE history and clearly feels it hasn’t gotten its due.

With Fox now removed from TNA and no clear next stop announced, it’s worth watching whether this kind of Hall of Fame advocacy becomes a bigger talking point for her going forward.
