AEW Sets Casino Gauntlet Match for All In 2026

AEW has locked in another major piece of the All In 2026 puzzle, confirming that the Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match will return for the show. The news came during the July 29 episode of Dynamite, with the promotion revealing that whoever wins the match will walk away with a guaranteed future shot at the AEW World Championship.

All In is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, at Wembley Stadium in London. No competitors have been announced yet, but given what’s on the line, expect a stacked field once names start getting revealed in the weeks ahead.

This will mark the third straight year the Casino Gauntlet has been part of All In, cementing it as one of the event’s signature attractions alongside the show’s usual run of blockbuster matches. Unlike a standard battle royal or Rumble-style match, the Gauntlet uses staggered entrances under sudden-death rules — the moment someone scores a pinfall or submission, the match is over, and that wrestler walks out with the title opportunity in hand.

The format has already produced some notable AEW storytelling. Christian Cage won the first All In Casino Gauntlet in 2024 but came up short when he eventually cashed in his title shot. MJF followed him up in 2025, winning the match and later using his opportunity to turn a AEW World Championship defense into a four-way bout at Worlds End — where he ended up reclaiming the title for a second time. That history alone should raise the stakes for whoever wins in London, since a Casino Gauntlet victory hasn’t just meant a shot at the belt, it’s meant a shot at reshaping the picture around it.

This year’s edition will be the ninth Men’s Casino Gauntlet in AEW history and the second in 2026 alone, following Kevin Knight’s win at Dynasty earlier this year, which netted him the TNT Championship. That AEW has now used the format for both world and secondary title opportunities shows how much trust the promotion has put in the gimmick as a way to create fresh title contenders outside of typical rankings or tournament structures.

The stakes at All In are already sky-high on the world title front. Kenny Omega is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay, who punched his ticket to the match by winning the 2026 Owen Hart Cup. Whoever survives that collision will have to immediately start looking over their shoulder, since the Casino Gauntlet winner will be standing by with a guaranteed opportunity regardless of who’s holding the belt.

With a month still to go before Wembley, AEW has plenty of time to build out the Gauntlet field, and given the format’s recent track record of shaking up the world title scene, it wouldn’t be surprising if the participants list becomes one of the most talked-about parts of the entire card.
