AEW Names Dos Azul Tequila as Official Spirits Partner for Forbidden Door

AEW is heading into Forbidden Door with a new brand deal in tow. The company has announced a partnership with Dos Azul Tequila, designating the brand as the official tequila partner of the upcoming pay-per-view, set for Sunday, June 28.

The deal goes beyond a simple logo placement. As part of the agreement, Dos Azul will have in-arena branding throughout the event, and fans attending in person will be able to purchase a custom Dos Azul margarita created specifically for the show. Additional elements of the partnership were also announced alongside the sponsorship.

Forbidden Door has become one of AEW’s marquee annual events, built around the promotion’s ongoing working relationship with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The crossover card typically features talent from both companies competing on the same show, giving it a distinct identity on the pay-per-view calendar. Adding a dedicated spirits sponsor ahead of the event signals continued interest from outside brands in aligning themselves with AEW’s bigger shows.

With Forbidden Door just around the corner, AEW appears to be ramping up the commercial infrastructure around the card. Whether this partnership extends beyond the single event remains to be seen, but for now, Dos Azul will have a notable presence when the two promotions share the ring later this month.
