Aalyah Mysterio Sparks Speculation Over WWE Arrival

Rey Mysterio’s daughter Aalyah may be closer than ever to joining WWE, if a flurry of social media posts from friends is any indication. While the company has not announced anything official, celebratory messages circulating online this week have fans convinced she’s about to relocate to Florida and report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

One post featured a cake reading “Florida’s about to get 619’d,” a nod to her father’s signature move, while friends shared congratulatory messages hinting at a career launch. Notes included “You’re WWE’s problem now – c u on tv,” “We love you and are over the moon for you!! BOOYAKA BOOYAKA,” and “Florida better get ready for the next Mysterio.” None of the posts explicitly confirm a contract, but the tone and timing have been enough to convince much of the wrestling internet that a deal is close, if not already done.

The buzz caps off months of visible preparation. Aalyah has been training at the WWE Performance Center, as well as at the Dungeon facility run by Natalya and TJ Wilson, and at Bayley’s Lodestone camp, where she reportedly worked alongside Sherilyn Guerrero, daughter of the late Eddie Guerrero, during WrestleMania week. Rey Mysterio has spoken previously about his daughter’s desire to follow him into the business, and the training log suggests that ambition has been taken seriously rather than treated as a passing interest.

Aalyah isn’t a complete unknown to WWE audiences, either. She appeared on television during Rey’s feud with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy back in 2020, and resurfaced during the emotionally charged build to WrestleMania 39 amid the Mysterio family’s internal drama with Dominik. Those appearances gave her some name recognition beyond simply being “Rey’s daughter,” and a formal signing would add another branch to a Mysterio family tree that already includes Rey and Dominik on WWE’s active roster.

If Aalyah does officially sign, she’d be stepping into a women’s division that WWE has spent years building into one of its deepest, most talent-rich areas of the company. A Mysterio surname carries built-in name value, but it also comes with pressure — every step of her development will be watched closely given the legacy attached to it, much the way Dominik’s early run was scrutinized before he found his footing as a heel act.

For now, WWE has stayed silent, and nothing is confirmed beyond the wave of online excitement from those close to her. But between the training pedigree, the past TV appearances, and now this celebratory social media moment, the pieces certainly look like they’re falling into place for another Mysterio to make the walk to the ring under WWE’s banner. Whether that debut comes at NXT first or straight to the main roster remains to be seen, but it’s safe to say fans will be watching Aalyah’s social media closely for the next clue.
