AAA on FOX July 4th Episode Features Former WWE World Champion’s Arrival, Lady Shani vs. Flammer, El Fiscal vs. Abismo Negro

The July 4th episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX is shaping up to be a noteworthy one, headlined by the arrival of a former WWE World Champion being brought into the promotion by General Manager Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio, who has been a central figure in AAA’s recent direction since taking on the GM role, continues to flex his executive muscle by importing high-profile talent from outside the lucha libre world. The identity of the incoming former champion has been teased as part of the build to the broadcast, adding a layer of intrigue to what is already a stacked episode.

On the in-ring side, Lady Shani is set to collide with Flammer in what figures to be a hard-hitting women’s division matchup. Shani is one of the most accomplished luchadors on the AAA roster, and Flammer has been an increasingly prominent presence in the promotion, making this a meaningful test for both competitors.

Rounding out the advertised card is a clash between El Fiscal and Abismo Negro Jr. The two have been part of AAA’s ongoing storyline landscape, and their meeting on the FOX platform gives both men a high-visibility stage to make an impression.

The July 4th episode of AAA on FOX promises a mix of marquee name power and compelling in-ring action, continuing the promotion’s push to establish itself as must-watch programming for lucha libre fans across North America.
