Danhausen Eyes Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn as Next Electrocution Targets, Wisely Gives GUNTHER a Pass

Fresh off zapping Matt Cardona into a Zack Ryder flashback on SmackDown, Danhausen is already thinking about who’s next on his electrocution list — and two of WWE’s biggest names are squarely in his crosshairs.

The Very Nice, Very Evil one took to social media to pose a loaded question: “Wonder what would happen if Danhausen electrocuted Cory Rhodes and Samuel Zayn.” Given that his recent experiments have caused The Miz to revert to old catchphrases and Cardona to start hollering “woo, woo, woo” and “you know it,” the implications for the Undisputed WWE Champion and the beloved Honorary Uce are… interesting, to say the least.

Not everyone is fair game, however. Danhausen is drawing the line at the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, explaining his reluctance with characteristic logic: “Staying away from Gilbert don’t want to get chopped.” Hard to argue with that reasoning.

As for Cardona, Danhausen has a prescription in mind, suggesting the star needs to be “cursed back into Zack Ryder” — framing his electrocution device less as a weapon and more as a form of character therapy.

The segment on last week’s SmackDown added another layer to the ongoing bit, with Cardona arriving to rescue Danhausen from a confrontation with Berto and Angel, only to end up on the receiving end of the shock himself. The resulting Ryder impression was, by most accounts, deeply committed.

Whether WWE has a longer-term plan for this electrocution gimmick remains to be seen, but for now Danhausen is keeping the concept alive on social media — carefully, and at a respectful distance from anyone who might respond with a chop.
