Report: Shotzi Blackheart Signs With TNA Wrestling

Shotzi Blackheart appears to have found her next wrestling home, with reports indicating she has signed with TNA Wrestling after her recent exit from MLW. The news comes after she was spotted at TNA’s television tapings in Alabama this week, fueling speculation that quickly turned into word of an actual contract agreement.

The move marks the latest chapter in a winding few years for the former WWE Superstar, who built a cult following during her time in NXT and the WWE main roster before eventually parting ways with the company. She later surfaced in MLW, but that stint proved short-lived, setting the stage for this reported jump to TNA.

For TNA, adding a name with Shotzi’s level of mainstream recognition continues a pattern the promotion has leaned into over the past couple of years — bringing in performers who built sizable followings in WWE and giving them a platform to rebuild and redefine their characters. TNA’s women’s division has been one of the promotion’s strongest storytelling engines recently, and a talent like Shotzi, known for her high-energy in-ring style and strong connection with fans, could slot in as a fresh factor in that scene almost immediately.

Her appearance at the Alabama tapings suggests she could begin appearing on TNA programming in the near future, though specifics on her creative direction or an official on-air debut haven’t been detailed yet. It’s also worth watching whether TNA plays up her WWE and MLW history at all, or opts to present her as an entirely new act within the company’s world.

The business development, however, arrives at a complicated personal moment for Shotzi. Alongside news of her new wrestling destination, she also announced a change to her upcoming schedule following a family tragedy. No further details on the nature of that loss have been made public, and out of respect for her privacy, specifics beyond her own statement remain limited. It’s a reminder that even as storylines and signings dominate headlines, the people inside the business are navigating real life alongside their careers.

For now, the wrestling world will be watching to see how and when TNA officially unveils Shotzi as part of its roster, and how quickly she’s worked into the company’s ongoing programming. Given how active the free-agent market has been for former WWE talent over the last year, her arrival — if confirmed — would be one more sign of TNA’s continued push to position itself as a serious destination for recognizable names looking for their next act.
