Private Party is on the shelf. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen both suffered the same injury during their match against The Death Riders — Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia — on the March 28 edition of AEW Collision, and neither man has wrestled since.
The bout served as the last in-ring appearance for both Kassidy and Quen, who came out on the losing end of the tag team contest. The specifics of the injury have not been publicly disclosed, but both members of Private Party are currently sidelined as a result of what happened that night.
It’s a rough blow for Kassidy and Quen, who have been a fixture of AEW’s tag team division since the promotion’s early days. Private Party have had their share of big moments in AEW over the years, most recently aligning themselves in the faction landscape that has continued to evolve on Collision and beyond. Losing both members of a team to the same injury in one match is an unusual and unfortunate circumstance, and it leaves a gap in the division while they recover.
The Death Riders, meanwhile, remain one of AEW’s most prominent stables, with Moxley at the center of the promotion’s ongoing storylines. There’s no word yet on a timeline for either Kassidy or Quen to return to action, but fans will be hoping both men can get healthy and back in the ring sooner rather than later.
