AEW Sets December Dates For Worlds End And Holiday Bash

AEW has locked in its December schedule, confirming that Worlds End will take place in Minneapolis with Holiday Bash following just a few days later in Chicago.

Worlds End, AEW’s fourth annual year-end pay-per-view, is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Target Center in Minneapolis. The announcement came shortly after All Out wrapped up, giving fans a clear runway into the promotion’s final major show of the year. This will mark the first time Worlds End has been held in the Twin Cities, and it also shifts the event earlier on the calendar than in years past — previous installments have landed closer to or after Christmas. That timing has historically lined up with the finale of the Continental Classic tournament, so it’s worth watching whether that tradition carries over to this edition.

Target Center confirmed the booking on social media, noting that tickets go on sale Monday, October 5.

Just four days after Worlds End, AEW heads to Chicago for Holiday Bash on Wednesday, December 23. That show will be a combined television taping, producing both Dynamite and Collision from Wintrust Arena.

The back-to-back dates give AEW a busy final stretch to close out 2026, with a marquee premium live event followed almost immediately by a two-for-one TV taping in another major market. Chicago has long been a reliable stronghold for AEW, and pairing a Dynamite/Collision taping there right before the holidays suggests the company wants to send fans into the new year with fresh storylines already in motion heading into whatever awaits in January.

Moving Worlds End into new territory is also notable for a promotion that has increasingly leaned on rotating its bigger shows through different cities rather than parking them in the same arenas each year. A first-ever stop in Minneapolis gives AEW another data point on where its pay-per-view business travels well, and it continues a pattern of spreading marquee dates beyond the usual East Coast and Southern hubs.
