Young Bucks Become Four-Time AEW Tag Champs at All Out

The Young Bucks made history at All Out in Chicago, outlasting Adam Copeland and Christian Cage as well as FTR in a brutal three-way Ladder Match to become the first-ever four-time AEW World Tag Team Champions.

The bout was a demolition derby from bell to bell. Dax Harwood suplexed Copeland off a ladder and through another one, Cash Wheeler crashed through a table, and Nick Jackson sent Harwood flying through a table with a 450 Splash. Copeland got his own high spot in as well, drilling Matt Jackson with an impaler DDT through a table as all three teams traded big moments in search of the titles hanging above the ring.

Things got even messier when Copeland peppered FTR with chair shots while Christian set up a ladder in the middle of the ring, only for Stokely Hathaway to insert himself into the match. Hathaway hit Copeland with a low blow and blinded Christian with a powder shot before trying to climb up and grab the belts himself. Copeland recovered just in time to shove him off the ladder and through a table at ringside, ending that detour.

The finishing stretch saw all three teams scrambling for position, with FTR briefly seizing control after hitting Nick Jackson with a Shatter Machine off the ladder. Copeland and Christian answered with a Con-Chair-To on Harwood, but Wheeler dodged the fallout before Nick Jackson knocked him off his own ladder. The Bucks then turned on Christian, nailing him with a BTE Trigger from the top, and with the ring finally cleared, Matt and Nick Jackson made the climb together to unhook the championships and secure the win.

The victory ends Copeland and Christian’s reign at 126 days after they won the titles from FTR in an I Quit Match at Double or Nothing back in May. It also cements the Bucks as the most decorated tag team in AEW history, adding a fourth reign to a resume that already includes multiple stints atop the division since the promotion’s inception.

With three of AEW’s most accomplished tag teams colliding in one match, the stakes went beyond just the titles — this was as much about legacy as gold. FTR and Copeland/Christian have both been fixtures of the AEW tag scene, and the Bucks reclaiming the belts in this fashion, with Hathaway’s interference as a wrinkle, sets up plenty of questions about where things go from here. Will FTR look for another shot after coming up just short, or will Copeland and Christian push for immediate retribution? Either way, the AEW World Tag Team Championship picture just got a lot more crowded, and the Young Bucks are once again standing at the center of it.
