AEW All Out 2026 Returns to Chicago With Ospreay-Moxley Main Event

AEW All Out 2026 takes place Saturday, September 26, live from NOW Arena in Chicago on HBO Max pay-per-view, with the show airing at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. A one-hour Saturday Tailgate Brawl pre-show featuring two matches leads into the card at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on TNT and HBO Max.

The nine-match main card is loaded with title implications, featuring seven championship matches in total. Topping the bill is Will Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship against AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley — a bout Ospreay himself requested after winning the title from Kenny Omega at All In: London. It’s a deeply personal pairing: Moxley helped train Ospreay for this exact run, even stepping in to save him from a chair-wielding Gabe Kidd shortly after Wembley, only to turn around and warn Ospreay about what it means to lose everything he just built. Ospreay has never beaten Moxley — not at NJPW Windy City Riot in 2022, and not this past April at Dynasty, when revenge got in the way of the Continental title. Chicago gives him one more shot to finally get over that hump, with the World Championship on the line this time instead of just pride.

Elsewhere on the card, The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) defend the Women’s World Tag Team Championship against Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) in a Chicago Street Fight, the rematch escalating after weeks of post-match cheap shots, a hidden pipe, and a tea party gone violent. The AEW World Tag Team Championship is up for grabs in a three-way ladder match, with champions Christian Cage and Adam Copeland defending against the Young Bucks and FTR — any of the three challengers walking away with the belts would mark FTR or the Bucks’ fourth reign as a team, a milestone both duos have been chasing.

The rest of the championship slate includes Swerve Strickland and The New Level defending the AEW World Trios Championship against “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido (Bandido and Brody King), Kazuchika Okada putting the International Championship on the line against Tommaso Ciampa, Andrade El Ídolo defending the National Championship against PAC, and Persephone opening the TBS Championship up to a mystery challenger. Willow Nightingale faces Thekla with a future AEW Women’s World Championship shot on the line, while Darby Allin and Steven Borden take on Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight with a future AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity at stake. The Tailgate Brawl pre-show features Bang Bang Gang taking on Death Riders and The Dogs, along with a singles match between Jack Perry and Katsuyori Shibata.

NOW Arena carries significant weight for AEW beyond just hosting duties — it’s the building where the original All In took place in 2018, the show widely credited as a catalyst for AEW’s formation, and where Chris Jericho beat Adam Page to become the promotion’s first-ever World Champion at All Out 2019. The venue hosted All Out every year from 2021 through 2024 before last year’s edition moved to Toronto, AEW’s first time taking the show outside the United States. Bringing it back to Chicago feels less like a routine scheduling choice and more like a full-circle moment for a promotion that has always treated the city as something close to a spiritual home.
