Jack Perry vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Headlines 6/24 AEW Dynamite, International Title Match Also Announced

AEW’s June 24 edition of Dynamite is shaping up to be a strong one, with several matches locked in following announcements made during the June 20 Collision taping.

The most notable addition is Jack Perry squaring off against Zack Sabre Jr. Perry issued the challenge to the technical wizard himself during Collision, setting up what should be a compelling stylistic clash between two of the more calculating performers on the AEW roster. Perry, who has continued to build his reputation as one of the company’s top heels, will have his hands full with ZSJ’s submission-heavy game.

Also set for the June 24 Dynamite is a match for the AEW International Championship. Ricochet stepped up on Collision to challenge reigning titleholder Konosuke Takeshita, putting a title bout on the table for next week’s show. Takeshita has been one of the more dominant figures in AEW over the past year, and Ricochet — a former champion in multiple promotions — is no slouch as a challenger.

Rounding out the announced lineup is a Survival of the Fittest qualifier match, though specific participants for that bout were not detailed in the announcement. The Survival of the Fittest concept, borrowed from NJPW tradition, adds a tournament-style layer of stakes to the upcoming programming.
