Mark Davis Weighs In On Jeff Cobb’s AEW Signing Buzz

Mark Davis has offered his thoughts on the growing speculation that Jeff Cobb could be headed to AEW, saying simply that he believes Cobb would thrive no matter where he lands.

“I think he’d do great anywhere he goes,” Davis said, addressing the rumors swirling around Cobb’s next move following his WWE departure.

Cobb exited WWE in May after roughly a year with the company, where he spent much of his run as part of Solo Sikoa’s MFT faction. Before signing with WWE, Cobb built a reputation as one of the most respected big men in the business, known for his surprising agility and power-based offense across stints with promotions like New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and Lucha Underground. His run in New Japan as part of United Empire alongside Will Ospreay in particular cemented him as a heavy hitter capable of working a main-event style against smaller, faster opponents.
