TNA Releases Tag Team Sinner & Saint

TNA Wrestling has parted ways with the tag team Sinner and Saint, made up of Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. The promotion confirmed the move in a press release on Thursday, July 16, stating that the two sides had come to terms on the duo’s release.

Sinner and Saint had been part of TNA’s tag division, though the announcement did not detail the circumstances behind the split or what led to the decision. As is typical with these kinds of releases, no further specifics were provided about the team’s tenure or future plans within the company.

The departure opens up another shift in TNA’s tag team ranks, which have seen plenty of movement in recent memory as the promotion continues to build out its roster. It remains to be seen where Judas Icarus and Travis Williams will land next, whether that’s together as a team or on separate paths in the wrestling landscape.

No additional statements from either wrestler had been issued at the time of the announcement. TNA has not indicated whether it plans to address the vacancy left behind in its tag team scene.

As more information becomes available on Sinner and Saint’s next steps, further updates will follow.
