Josh Bishop Joins The Skyscrapers Ahead of MLW Fusion This Saturday

The Skyscrapers have added a significant piece to their puzzle, and Major League Wrestling is set to address it head-on this Saturday when MLW Fusion airs on July 11.

MLW Insider Rich Bocchini is scheduled to sit down with the “new” Skyscrapers following the shocking revelation that Josh Bishop has joined the reigning MLW World Tag Team Champions. The move caps off weeks of uncertainty, hardball contract demands, and swirling speculation about the direction of the tag team title picture in MLW.

The Skyscrapers were already considered one of the most physically imposing acts in the promotion, but Bishop’s addition raises the stakes considerably. His size and power profile fit the unit’s identity to a tee, and the combination figures to give every tag team in MLW pause when it comes to pursuing the championships. Whether any challenger is willing to step up — or even speak up about it — remains an open question that Bocchini will be pressing the group on.

Fusion streams free on YouTube on Saturday, July 11 at 6:05 PM ET, with the episode also available on VEEPS at 9:00 PM ET and on beIN SPORTS at 10:00 PM ET. International fans can catch the show on NJPW World on Monday, July 13 at 12:00 PM JST.

With Bishop now flying the Skyscrapers’ flag, the MLW tag division may be looking at its most daunting obstacle yet. Saturday’s Fusion should make clear exactly how dominant this new configuration intends to be.
