Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize Announce Engagement After Fourth of July Proposal

Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize are engaged. The pair made the announcement on social media on July 4, 2026, with Alize sharing a photo of the couple alongside her new engagement ring. Her caption kept it simple and joyful: “Happy 4th of July 🎇 Im engaged.”

The two have grown into a recognizable partnership on the independent wrestling scene over the past year, competing together as Violent Romance after beginning to take joint bookings in 2025. Their relationship made waves later that year when they walked out of an AEW Collision television taping, a moment that generated considerable conversation within the wrestling community.

Newell, best known to WWE audiences as Tegan Nox, has previously stated that 2026 is expected to be her final year competing as a professional wrestler. Since parting ways with WWE, she has stayed active on the independent circuit alongside Alize, who has continued to develop her own career — including earning a WWE tryout earlier in 2026.

The engagement adds a meaningful personal milestone to what has already been a significant chapter for both women. With Newell signaling that her in-ring career is winding down, the two appear to be building toward the next phase of their lives together. Congratulations to Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize on the happy news.
