Triple H Identifies Four WWE Stars as Future WrestleMania Main Eventers During TV Appearance

Triple H is bullish on WWE’s next crop of talent — and he made that clear during a recent appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show, where he was promoting the upcoming Night of Champions premium live event.

During the conversation, Smith brought up a prior exchange he’d had with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, which served as a springboard for Triple H to discuss the future of WWE’s roster. The Chief Content Officer named four specific performers he believes are on a trajectory to headline WrestleMania, expressing strong confidence that the company’s next generation is prepared to carry WWE forward at the highest level.

It’s a notable public declaration from the man who oversees WWE’s creative direction. Since taking the reins of creative following Vince McMahon’s retirement, Triple H has made developing and elevating talent a central pillar of his approach. Spotlighting names he sees as future main-event fixtures — in a mainstream media setting, no less — signals both internal faith in those performers and a deliberate effort to build them in the eyes of a broader audience.

The comments come at a pivotal moment for WWE, with Night of Champions on the horizon and the company continuing to ride high on the momentum built since Triple H assumed his expanded role. If history is any guide, when WWE’s head of creative publicly endorses a talent’s ceiling, the company tends to back it up with the booking to match.
